I enjoyed the simplicity of this book's story. It was told in dual POVs of our two protagonists, Nevada and Clay. The story reminded me of the movie, "Sabrina," because their plots are somewhat similar. I found Clay's desire for Nevada to be overwhelming and intense at times. He was known as a player, but he had a relationship with Nevada long before he was physically attracted to her. I believe Nevada living on Clay's estate since they were children created a base for their relationship to develop quickly. They had great chemistry and I found this book to be a good quick read.

Oh Em Gee!!! I bought this on a whim during a release party on Facebook. First chapter in and I was hooked. Although to me it was a little bit short........I'm used to ready 800 page books........... It was still an amazing book and I recommend everyone grab this puppy, you'll be reading this again......and again......and again.....
Was an enjoyable book for the most part. The beginning started out great & then kind of fizzled a bit for me but after that it picked up again & got much better. Turned out to be a little different then I expected. And it was nice to see the girl holding the cards for once & make the guy grovel a bit.
I'm not getting all these 5 star reviews, I feel like I'm being punk'd!!!! This book was awful, it was lame and generally sucked, I felt no connection with any of the characters they were stoopid. it was super cheezy and just I dunno bleh, it was a tough read for me but I had to trudge through it .. after all I paid for the effing thing.
The characters were well developed. The chemistry is off the charts. The dynamic of the storyline is surprising with somethings and riveting in others. When you get to the real Clay who could ever refuse with a love that fierce directed towards you. Great HEA also so hope you enjoy the read.
I had a hard time putting this Book down. I finished it in only a few hours. At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like it. I am not big on the guys who sleep around but I was hooked by the second chapter. The chemistry between the two main characters is amazing. This is the first book I have read by Joanna Blake and trust me when I say, I just one clicked a few others!
I'm sort of torn on this book. Clay turned from manwhore to man obsessed a little too quickly, not that I wanted him to even look at anyone else. I didn't quite get the whole tying up thing. Why did he do that? Why was he trying to push her away and then five minutes later, trying to get her back? I also didn't really like Nevada. She wouldn't take money from him, saying she wasn't a whore, but it was okay to go on stage and strip for money, knowing Clay was watching? Sometimes, the high and mighty attitude can be annoying.
Well, I don't want to go into details of the book, but this book had everything from love, sex, and jealousy. When it started out, the male main character was full of himself. I was about to give up and delete the book, but decided to push through. I am glad I did. The female main character was a ugly duckling turned swan. She was the shy keep to herself type who tried not to fall in love with the rich spoiled bad boy. I highly recommend this book.
